                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO 
                   EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AN AGREEMENT WITH 
                   PIEDMONT OLSEN HENSLEY, RELATIVE TO DESIGN 
                   AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE ST. ELMO 
                   PARALLEL CONNECTOR, CONTRACT NO. 135, FOR AN 
                   INCREASE OF TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS 
                   ($12,000.00) FOR SOIL BORING AND ANALYSIS, 
                   FOR A REVISED TOTAL AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED 
                   TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS 
                   ($125,400.00).
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to execute Amendment 
       No. 1 to an Agreement with Piedmont Olsen Hensley, relative to 
       design and construction services for the St. Elmo Parallel 
       Connector, Contract No. 135, for an increase of $12,000.00 for 
       soil boring and analysis, for a revised total amount of 
       $125,400.00.
